MyOnlineJewelryshop.com is the creation of Val Gratias and Kristin Triolo of Bradenton, Florida. The two women met on the golf course, a favorite past time for both of them. Val already had a jewelry website but wanted to take it to the next level. Kristin, with years of computer experience and marketing skills, wanted to make better use of her marketing talents. They formed a partnership and MyOnlineJewelryShop.com was born. Val and Kristin, together with Val`s son Ryan, an accomplished Borosilicate glass artisan, and the support of their families, have worked to create a jewelry site for customers who want to purchase top of the line jewelry and gifts.

VAL GRATIAS, as most women, has always loved jewelry. Her love and life long hobby of jewelry making turned into the desire to create her own designs and learn the art of jewelry making about ten years ago. Thus began her career as a jewelry designer. Over the years, she`s mastered setting of individual stones into rings, bracelets and necklaces into custom settings. The designs she`s created are breathtaking. She uses only the best quality supplies: Gold, Silver, Diamonds, Precious and Semi-Precious Stones and Swarovski Crystals. Val creates jewelry that will stand the test of time and look new after each cleaning, year after year. Her designs are created using electronic bonding methods. She uses the electronic welding method when working with gold and electronic soldering when working with silver. In her original designs, combining colors and making unique designs that can be worn everyday comfortably is what she prefers.

Wedding Jewelry is one of Val`s specialties. She`s created jewelry for the bride, matching pieces for bridesmaids, custom jewelry gifts for the bridesmaids and flower girls. One of Val`s favorite past times is soldering jewelry. Do you have individual stones to have set or an idea of a piece you`d like to have created? If so, Val is your custom jewelry designer and will work with you to create that special piece you have in mind. You can choose from a ring setting in the online catalogue or design a bracelet or necklace.

Artistic talent runs in the Val`s family. Ryan Chrisinger, her son, is a master at Handblown Glass Art, also called LampWork and FlameWork. Ryan began as a self taught artist who has been lampworking hot glass since 1996, specializing in hand blown borosilicate hollow vessel forms and lampworked beads.

Ryan`s Glass Art Studio is located in a small Iowa town. Each glass piece is handmade while standing behind a torch using oxygen and propane, then annealed in a kiln for durability to assure long life. This glass is extremely durable and capable of withstanding intense thermal and chemical shock. Borosilicate glass (boro) has a color-changing quality which is dependent upon the light it is viewed in. Take your boro beads into the sunlight to see them at their most brilliant.

Kristin Triolo is the Director of Sales and Marketing for the company. She created her first website in the early 1990`s and has over 25+ years of computer experience. She was surfing the web using Turbogopher in the early 1990`s before most people knew about the internet. She and her husband owned and operated an outdoor specialty retail store in Vermont before they relocated to Florida.

Kristin loves jewelry and especially appreciates the custom work of artists who provide their own unique style to each piece. She developed a love of marketing and sales as a Florida licensed real estate Broker working as a Broker Associate with REMAX Gulfstream Realty in Sarasota. She still is active in the real estate market in Sarasota, Venice and Bradenton.
